Lavanya Gupta
Lavanya is an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, pursuing a double major in Public Health and Molecular and Cell Biology. With a strong interest in neuroscience, particularly translational research, she joined the Singhal Lab during her freshman year. Over the past few years, she has had the privilege of closely collaborating with postdoctoral researchers and Dr. Singhal on various projects. Her current work centers on studying mitochondrial changes and evaluating the performance of ischemic stroke mouse models before and after treatment. Outside the lab, Lavanya enjoys rock climbing and hiking.
